Just a note to say THANK YOU, to the Greater Sidney Area Emmaus Community. Over the past 4 years, you have supported me during my time on the Emaus Board of Directors. I feel the community has made some positive advances during this time, which have mirrored the first 10 or so years of the communities existence. None of these are on account of me personally. The Board and community serve together as one body. Looking towards the future, serving Christ together, I only see more positive outcomes. Confidently, the existing and furtre Board will be able to count on you to support them the same. May God continue to bless you and the GSAE community. Remember, Christ is counting on us!
In His service,
Jerry Noble
Autumn Blessings,
Once again it is the time of year when we begin to notice the changing of the seasons. Each day is a work of art as God paints the canvas with the many colors of fall. It is also a time to reflect and count our blessings of the harvest.
You can also reap God’s blessings by giving unconditional love in the form of agape for the upcoming walks. Sidney Emmaus Community has two more walks this year. Women’s walk #40 will be held Oct. 5-8. Men’s walk #36 will be held Nov. 2-5. If you would like to bless the pilgrims with agape, a full walk consists of 36 pilgrims. If you would like to bless the team and pilgrims, please supply 66 pieces of agape. Write the number of pieces and whether agape is for bedtime or mealtime. Since agape is a gift of unconditional love, please do not include individual names on the agape.
We all know there are many forms of agape revealed and experienced over the 72 hours. Thank you for helping us plant the seed.
In His great love,
Doug and Peggy Ware
THANK YOU!
I would like to thank the Greater Sidney Emmaus Community for their support and understanding regarding the Newsletter the past two years. We have experienced the great “computer glitches’, and ‘loss of memory’, (both the computers and mine!) but we have done everything possible to bring you a newsletter before each walk and a special Christmas edition. It has been a joy to serve such a wonderful community and ’family”.
In the coming months there will be new changes to the Newsletter, including e-mailing and having printed copies at the Gatherings, and I know that you will continue to get great information, and articles when Kelly Young starts with the January edition.
May God bless you all.
In Christ,
Jody Prater
