Happy New Year and all Glory to God in 2006
Greetings, hopefully everyone had a wonderful holiday season as we celebrated the birth of our Lord Jesus. I don’t know about you, but it seems Christmas comes quicker and quicker each year. I can’t believe it’s 2006 already, but it is. We were a busy group last year, so much to do and so little time, but God is dependable and His wonderful love guided this community as always.
As we all were told on our Emmaus weekend, the only thing that probably had changed that weekend was us, the world was still the same old world. Now, as we come back down from the holiday season and start a new year, the world is still the same old world. There is much to do and so little time to do it, but we can make a difference with His help.
Hopefully we will all continue to lift up this world, our nation, and all of the leaders in prayer. Hopefully this will be a year of peace and love. Hopefully our troops can come home, and stay. Hopefully multitudes will be introduced to Christ instead of anger, greed, and hunger.
I know you faithful prayer warriors are working overtime, may we all continue to support each other and our nation. May this be a year of peace.

SHARE GROUP UPDATE FORMS
Happy New Year, from you Men’s and Women’s Good Shepherds! We need your help! There are new Pilgrims looking for a Share Group! One of the greatest ways to continue the Emmaus experience is to have the one on one sharing times with others who have been blessed by the Walk to Emmaus. Joining, and being a brother or sister to others is an experience that will help you in all your Fourth Days. To share the highs and lows, with others who will help to hold you up in prayer, and to bring you to a close walk with Christ.
If you want to join a Share Group, or if you are already involved in a Share Group, we would like to know. This information will assist in selecting team members, and in creating new Share Groups.
Please complete the form below, and return it at the next gathering, or you can mail it to: Rick Poppe, Men’s Good Shepherd, or Marianne Shepard, at Greater Sidney Emmaus Community, 230 East Poplar Street, Sidney, Ohio 456365.
Let’s make a difference in their lives for Christ!

WANTED! WANTED! WANTED!
The Greater Sidney Emmaus Community offers child care during Gatherings, to give parents the opportunity to meet and worship with the Community. We need volunteers to assist in this wonderful gift of Agape, in helping to care for the children. Please contact Carol Foster or any of the Emmaus Board members if you would be willing to help!
Please remember that to protect God’s most precious gifts, our children, we ask that anyone who works with children complete the “Child Care Agreement”. The form has been included in this Newsletter.
Let the little children com to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God. Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.: Mark10:14-15.
